How I approach
therapy fees

I don’t have one fixed fee – instead I offer therapy on a sliding scale. That means we agree on an amount that feels affordable and fair for you, within a suggested range. I use this approach because I’m deeply committed to social justice, and believe therapy should be accessible to anyone who needs it, whatever their financial or social circumstances. It also allows me to sustain a practice that supports a modest living and enables me to continue offering therapy to others.

My standard fee is £70 per session in Sevenoaks and online, and £80 per session in London. The difference reflects the higher costs of working in the city.

If you’re able to pay more – for example, £100 or above – your contribution supports a model where people with more financial flexibility help create access for those with less (I typically offer lower-cost sessions between £25 and £40). This is one way I try to make a difference to as many people as I can. If the suggested fees don’t quite work for your situation, that’s OK – we can talk about it. Together, we’ll find a fee that feels fair and manageable.

If you’re interested in the thinking behind how I set my fees, you can view the ethical fees model that guides my practice via the button below. It’s grounded in values of economic justice, flexibility and mutual support – where those with more financial capacity help make therapy accessible for others.
